We offer two types of services:
- EFRvisioning and EFRplanet -- We discover in depth what a client (and her or his group) perceive(s) as a desirable future, and how that desirable future can be made more probable. We transform the data we collect into usable information and knowledge through a vision analysis process, selective input from external sources, and (for organizations or groups) consensus-building sessions. In the end, we help clients identify WHAT their desirable future is, WHY that future is desired, and HOW it can be realized. All EFRvisioning projects are provided access to a digital visioning lab in an online space known as EFRplanet.
- EFRworkshops -- EFRworkshops are designed specifically for clients interested in receiving the benefits of EFR in an abbreviated format. Effective workshops can be designed for time blocks as short as 90 minutes or as long as a whole day, or even longer -- depending on the depth of visioning that is desired. EFRsource will facilitate meetings of as many as 30 participants through semi-structured interactive EFR-inspired visioning exercises.
- EFRinstitute -- We teach and mentor qualified individuals to become professional Ethnographic Futures Researchers, either to serve their organizations, or to become independent practitioners. Several times a year we offer two levels of training, Level 1 for EFR fieldworkers and Level 2 for EFR project managers.
